                                              FORTY YEARS OF CARNIVAL!

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

     I hope your summer is going well. As I write this it is raining…something we very much need, I know. As I mentioned during my Masses last weekend, I hope it rains a lot this week (my sincere apologies if this is your vacation week) and not the week of August 28 through September 4. That is the week of the world’s best carnival, as you know, right here at St. Joan of Arc (remember: it’s SATURDAY TO SATURDAY). So many of you work it; so many more of you support it. Let’s hope for a dry spell; but much more importantly, please pray that all of our workers and visitors and patrons are safe as we enjoy one another’s company. The St. Joan of Arc Carnival is a 40 year tradition here in Marlton! People come from all over to close out the summer by meeting friends and sharing some laughs.

     While our carnival is a wonderful community builder, it is also, of course, a major fundraiser for our elementary school. Our parish is blessed to have a great school with an outstanding faculty and student body. Please know that your generous support is so very much appreciated.
